Does anyone have or can you take a picture of your aftermarket deck in the stock location of a late model Ram? (Mine is a 2006) My local stereo shop said that the adapter plate looks seemless however I find that hard to believe. The stock deck is much larger than an aftermarket and mine has the rounded edges where the control knobs sit so I wonder how this is possible. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I could get you pics of my 05, but that won't show you much as the plates and install is different in an 06. I do know that the adapters from Crutchfield have the curved edges you refer to. I have always liked Crutchfield.com, because they send you everything necessary for the install when you order anything. Take a look over at their site. They have PDFs you can view which will show you exactly what you will encounter. My 05 looks great. Kooda what year truck is that? When you were looking for a mounting frame for it was there one where the CD player would sit lower?

I REALLY like that stereo. I have a Kenwood EZ500 that looks good,but it's not big enough and it needs more audio EQ settings.
