Hey my factory radio went out a couple a years ago. My Pioneer just went outta warranty and is starting to mess up, so I was looking into some in dash screens. I was wondering what some people have gone with so I dont have to cut the dash. Or atleast do yall know measurements? I saw this BOSS BV9990 seems pretty cool and amazon is selling them for $250 more my price range. Dunno if itll fit tho. Well thanks for yalls time.

dont know if the high speed can bus "mygig rer" unit will fit in an 04 dash. but they are nice. Play and view dvd movies, 20 or 30 GB built in hard drive, AUX input, USB input and optional Iphone cable avaiable. Comes with sirius satellite. Can add bluetooth hands free (but this requires some interface cables and boxes).
Just do a ebay search for "MYGIG RER" and you can find them in the $299.00 to $450.00 price range.

If that wont fit or you dont like it I would go with the Pioneer

I know stationary screens are really nice but I was looking for a flip out so when I want to I can just fold it and make it look like a regular radio.

ok but the first time you have your 3 year old in the truck hes going to reach up and rip the screen off the radio then shove peanut butter in the slot where the screen used to be

haha Ill keep that in mind. Well im in college no kids that I know of so I think ill be in the clear for awhile. I would have to say if that did happen to me it would be a toss up between being furious or just laughing.

Well if anyone has any other opinions on a good reasonablly priced in dash flip screen just lemme know thanks.
