Even though this isn't a Hemi truck, it's still a aDodge so maybe some guru's out there know the answers:
I got this radio all wired up except 3 main wires...the wires that pertain to the Navigation system. I'm assuming these wires lock out DVD video feedback (got sound though), entrance to system setup, and phone pairing ability. The three wires are: Pink wire (car speed signal) Light green wire (parking brake wire) Voilet/white (Reverse signal wire) of those three wires I have no idea which wire or where to look for them. Any ideas?? Thanks!!! If it matters, this is for a 2004 Durango. 1999 Deep Amethyst CC Dakota RT [Barney] 400rhp http://www.southeastperformance.com/ FOR SALE 2008 Silver Ram QC Laramie 2004 Red Durango SLT |

the light green connects to the parking break signal ground (navigation controls only work wile in park) or straight to ground(controls work all the time)
Violet/white connects to the reverse lights+ (tels the navigation the car is moving in reverse) the pink it's a little more complicated, it connects to the speedometer signal from the PCM,(tels the nav. the speed the car is going)you gona need a wiring diagram for the model. Yep, that's why i like Kenwood, all that is precisely calculated by GPS Black 2004 Qc 4X4, Superchips, comp 260 cam, home ported & milled heads,6.1 spring and pushrods, PSC1, Taylor Thundevolt 50, Edelbrock TES headers, true duals with Magnaflow, K&N C.A.I., Innovate LC1, MarkVIII E Fan, 180* t stat,Hellwig RSB, 6 X HID,sport running boards and bed accents, lund rool pan, Kenwood KNX7100 nav., R camera, 80G hard drive, 9" flip down monitor, Phoenix gold Tantrum 600.4 for Diamond Audio 4.5" dash and R.F. 5" R doors, Orion Extreme 500.4 for HCCA 6S comps front door, Precision Power DCX 1500.1 for 2 X 10" RE Audio SE, Oxygen Audio 20 Farad cap, Rammat sound deadner, tons of wires |
