Bandit's has a couple of offers on his '04 SRT-10. My question is how hard would it be to switch his Infinity system to my Daytona? I need to know if the body computer will have to be reprogrammed after the install. His is the 6 disc with XM. Mine is the stock single CD. The head unit and amp will go right in the Daytona, but the subwoofer will not fit in my QC.

I can tell you right now, don't waste your time. I looked for a truck for 3 months. The Infinity was on my list of things I wanted. Why? I have no idea. I guess I forgot how mediocre it was. Or maybe just didn't realize it. I swapped everything out with Kicker KS components and it isn't even in the same universe. Go aftermarket. I got all my speakers for $170, and a HU for $130. sold all my old stuff for around $100. Was only out $200, and 6 hours of labor rewiring and making adapters, etc. and it was OH, SO WORTH IT! I spent an hour and a half building and installing a carpeted back wall behind my rear seats, and all I have left is to install an amp/sub. It blows my old Infinity away that I had in my 03 powered by an Alpine. Can't wait to get a sub. If you are going to put that much time/effort into it, go aftermarket.
