I got a deal on a logic 12 inch sub. I built a few boxes fpr it but it sounds like crap. I think its my box though. It has good deep rolling bass but when it has a short beat it sounds like a vibration. Any suggestions, I'm lost at this point. The speaker is 1000 peak 500 rms. I have a 600 watt 2 channel amp. The speaker is bridged to two and the amp is also bridged.

Have you tried turning the amp down to see if the short beats are to much for the sub?

What type of material did you use for the box? If you used anything smaller than 3/4" you may have some vibrating of the wood panels. you could try reinforcing the different panels with another layer of mdf or plywood, glue it first then screw them together.

Just my thoughts
