Damn that's sharp! You do good work. How hard was the Navigation system to install?
I couldn't see your back-up camera in the picture...unless it's the "thing" across the top of the license plate. Did you have to take your console out to put the Nav system in.
My 08 is a bear to take out. It took me a while to get wires run and holes drilled for LED all under the dash and inside the console.

Navigation wasnt that hard, the center console and center dash sections are a little confusing to remove but there are videos and photo tutorial's out there on the internet that helped. routing of the gps antenna and hands free phone system wasnt too bad either. Although the work in the photos above took me a few days after work and 2 full weekends to do correctly. so it was time consuming. The backup camera is the thing along the top of the license plate. because i kept upgrading it the 2nd amp and 2 8" subwoofers and digital processor (not shown in photos)actually required i take the console / dash section apart 3 seperate times Frowner
I really need to pull the rear seats again because as the equipment has burned in over the last few months the amp processor and amp gains have gone up and i can hear a tiny bit of hiss with the volume turned all the way down. One weekend i will pull the seats and recalibrate the system and i should be good to go. I really like the system but now i want to add a nitrous bottle and i have no place left to put it Frowner Thanks

You must have been doing his kind of work for a while. Where is the back-up display? Does it show up in your GPS screen?

No I am a computer network engineer by trade. I just decided to take my time (alot of time), research everything and pay attention to every possible detail. The only thing required for stereo installs is a basic understanding of DC circuits and an internet connection with alot of reading. Smiler

Yea when you put the truck in reverse the camera shows on the radio screen.

Very nice job! Man, I love the 09's. If it weren't for the $$$ and the complexity of the newer hemis I would love one. I just like to play too much and like to keep it simple without the VVT, and MDS stuff getting in the way.

the predator programmer has an easy solution for the MDS problem. the setting options are...
MDS - ON
Or
MDS - OFF
I recommend the latter.
The predator also solves MOST of the problems caused by
ESP (electronic slowness protection)
Speed Limiter
Partial Throttle Shift Points
and most importantly
Torque Management (see item #1)
You are correct though before the predator came out the 2009's ran like your grandma's wheelchair.

I've swapped speakers and radio's a few times, but nothing quite like you did there. That really looks fantastic, good job.
